Berries and Cream

After a full week of making everyone around me suicidal by repeating the Berries and Cream song, I have decided to share it with the instructional video.

Now go forth young one and beat this internet fad to death.

Good Riddance

Full Story Here

Jack Valenti, the urbane Washington lobbyist who served as Hollywood's public face for nearly four decades and was best known for creating the film rating system, died this afternoon, according to Warren Cowan, his longtime friend and publicist for the MPAA. He was 85.

It's not often that I get excited when someone dies but I'm probably not going to shed a tear over this.

New White Stripes

Whats this, new White Stripes. Thats right...

I'm going to reserve judgment on this due to it being a radio rip.

The White Stripes - Icky Thump

Oh and to anger Pat Craven, photos from Fountains of Wayne show at Webster Hall available at stereogum.

Looks like thom

Only because the little guy looks like thom and thats the kind of asshole thing he would do.

Not Work Safe

This is why I love YouTube and Atlanta.

What a pathetic day to live through

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez and nothing really happened either that should make me this angered. I hate photoshop.

Apparat is a cool German workforce in the electronica department, definitely with a harder influence (bigger beats and little jingles) but also a glitch kind of person, using lots of sounds to add to his catalogue. Komponant was my favourite track (just behind "Silizium"--German for silicon) off of his last effort. The following is a new single leaked from his upcoming 2007 release.

Thom is a Jerk...

First order of business, Thom Provost is an impatient jerk.
Second order of business, I fell asleep today so I could not update.
That is all.

Innes Wilson
Innes Wilson - With Archangels
June 23 he will be at Phog Lounge!

Entire Cities
<--Best looking myspace I have ever seen.
Entire Cities - Marshall's 5 lost years

Will not be at the Phog lounge on June 23rd.
And for the record Guelph =! Toronto.

Also buy Brother Ali's album "The Undisputed Truth" on April 10th. I can see this being one of my top 10 hip hop cds of the year, if not on my overall top 10.

Cheers,
Jon (losing is my motif evidently)

Colour of the Knight

I've been going to bed at record times all this week, and it seems like a trend I'm hearing throughout school. Everyone listen to "Joe Jackson - Steppin' Out" and I think you'll just get a headache/want to shake your head slowly and throw paper at people.

This is Junior Boys, remixing Stars' "Sleep Tonight."

Why am I the only one who looks after this place?

Windsorites: April 14th is the date of the annual Jammie awards, for CJAM 91.5fm. Head here to vote for "The Breakthrough" under best new show. The Mark Inside and The Locust Kings will be playing live, at about 9-10pm. After 10, the public is welcome.

The Mark Inside played the CJAM fest this September along with Magneta Lane, some crappy punk ripoff pos, and Bigg's Philosophies. My old teacher once told me of the last groups mysterious existence, and unfortunately school made me miss them live.
