I want to direct your attention to _this_ great page. Featured are 50 "Incredible Rap Songs..", covering a bit of everything. Most I don't know, but that doesn't say very much.

In fact, I think a cool documentary would be one which follows the underground hip hop scene of NYC in the 80's/90's. That would be killer.
